PathMap Terms of Service

Welcome to PathMap.org, developed and operated by Artificial General Intelligence LLC™ ("we," "us," or "our"). PathMap Studio™ is an open-source research and literature synthesis platform. By accessing, downloading, executing, or using PathMap.org, its source code, or its generated research reports (collectively, the "Platform"), you ("the User") agree to the following terms:

1. NATURE OF PLATFORM & NO SALES PathMap Studio™ is provided free of charge as an open-source, client-side research tool. We do not offer paid synthesis services, commercial subscriptions, or data processing for sale at this time. All automated data extraction, literature auditing, and visualization occur locally in your browser using your own API credentials or local model instances.

2. NO MEDICAL OR CLINICAL ADVICE (YMYL & SCIENTIFIC DISCLAIMER)
We are software and data architects, not medical professionals. All data, logic maps, citations, and analytical reports generated by PathMap™ are strictly for informational, educational, and research purposes. They do not constitute medical, clinical, diagnostic, legal, or professional advice. The User assumes 100% liability for any clinical application, publication, or downstream decision-making based on these outputs. Always verify AI-synthesized outputs through accredited human expert review.

3. "UNCURATED" DATASETS & NO GUARANTEE OF OUTCOME
While the Platform programmatically validates verbatim quote strings against source databases ("Zero Hallucination Quoting"), we DO NOT manually review, curate, or endorse the scientific claims present in external literature (e.g., PubMed, arXiv, OpenAlex, Wikipedia). Furthermore, we make no guarantees that external literature will support the User's hypothesis.

4. OPEN SOURCE SOFTWARE LICENSE (APACHE 2.0)
PathMap Studio™ software and its source code are licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0 (the "License"). You may obtain a copy of the License at http://www.apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0.

Unless required by applicable law or agreed to in writing, software distributed under the License is provided on an "AS IS" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

5. PRIVACY & LOCAL-FIRST PROCESSING
PathMap Studio™ is architected as a local-first web application. Your API keys, entered claims, uploaded evidence files, and generated traces remain in your browser's ephemeral and local storage (IndexedDB) and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. We do not harvest your research data or utilize your submitted hypotheses to train artificial intelligence models.

6. DOWNSTREAM DISCOVERIES & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Subject to the terms of the Apache 2.0 License, Users retain full rights and ownership over their own downstream scientific discoveries, hypotheses, and datasets synthesized using the Platform.

Academic, clinical, and independent research should be adoption barrier-free to the greatest extent that is reasonable when the PathMap™ Artificial General Intelligence™ technology is used toward the tangible betterment of patient outcomes and global humanitarian needs. Hello, I am Joshua Dungan, the founder of Artificial General Intelligence LLC™ and the lead systems architect behind the PathMap™ cognitive engine.

As a full-time, independent caregiver, I built PathMap™ out of personal inspiration. After seeing Eric Dane's ALS interview in June 2025, I decided to apply advanced systems architecture to neurodegenerative research.
